Dr. Trina Nguyen
Dr. Trina Nguyen was born in Vietnam. She came to the United States at the age of 12. She considers herself incredibly blessed. “Not only have I had the best education and training, I am performing work that I love,” says Dr. Nguyen. She derives happiness from providing quality orthodontic care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. “The very least that I can do is to give my very best to my patients,” she says.
She loves orthodontics because it transforms lives. The wonder of orthodontic treatment is not just a beautiful smile but a brilliance that radiates confidence, instills a fresh outlook on life, and improves the health of your teeth. Dr. Trina strives for excellence and perfection in everything that she does and enjoys learning from both her young and old patients. “My younger patients remind me to be young at heart and love life while my older patients share with me their wisdom and remind me to appreciate life.”
Dr. Trina Nguyen received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and completed her Graduate Orthodontic Residency Program both at Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Greater Houston Dental Society.
Dr. Tuyet Nguyen
Dr. Tuyet Nguyen is one of the very few dentists who have both medical and dental trainings. She completed her medical education as a family physician at the University of Hue in Vietnam and her dental education at the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School in San Antonio. Her Doctor of Dental Sugery degree was attained with Magna Cum Laude distinction and other honors. She enjoys being a dentist and happy to serve others. “It’s a greater blessings to give (dental care) than to receive (dental education), even more so when my dental skills rejoice and blossom in humble service to my patients,” Dr. Tuyet said. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Greater Houston Dental Society.
Dr. Tuyet Nguyen has been living in Texas since 1993. She met her husband here in the Lone Star State and they are proud parents of five children. Her hobbies include cooking, biking, and watching movies.
Dr. Amanda Le
Dr. Le is a third generation dentist who was born and raised in Northern California. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Viticulture and Enology (that’s grape growing and winemaking!) at University of California, Davis and her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Roseman University of Health Sciences in Utah. She relocated to Houston with her husband, who is pursuing residency training at the Medical Center, and they are thoroughly enjoying their time exploring the city.
Dr. Le considers it a privilege to be able to treat patients with compassion and considers each interaction an opportunity to learn something new herself. Her goal is to ensure that her patients feel understood, comfortable, and empowered to improve their oral health. As an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Greater Houston Dental Society, she constantly seeks to continue her education in order to better serve her patients. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Le has many hobbies and passions. She enjoys cooking and baking, food and wine, gardening, aquascaping, art, live music, travel and outdoors, and spending time with her family.
